Microsoft Word Tutorial:LESSON 3

Now we will look at another option in the FILE MENU, which is: SAVE AS.
The meaning of SAVE AS option is if you want to save your document in a different style different from the default style.

How to save your word document in another format.
1. Click on File menu
2. Select SAVE AS option

a. you can choose to save as an ordinary word document: this means your document will be saved as a normal word version you are using. and our word version in this tutorial is Microsoft word 2007.

b. you can also choose word template: this means that your saved document can be used by you or somebody else in the future as a template format.

c.Saving in word 97-2003 format enables you to be able to open your document in a computer with the lower version of Microsoft word.

d. Lastly, you can convert your word document to pdf format if you want,

follow the SAVE AS step and choose pdf format.
view your document after this and behold! it's in pdf format.
